Chair has just released details of next Infinity Blade III update, which will be coming to iPhone and iPad on December 19th.

Titled Ausar Rising, the update will let you step back into the past by adding the castle from the first Infinity Blade game as a playable area.

According the developer, you'll also gain access to over 60 previously unseen items, and be able to natter to other warriors via an in-game chat system.

Finally, two new modes will be added to the menu: Survival Arena, and Deathless Quests.

Oh, and you'll get to fight another dragon. So that's good.

You'll won't be able to download the Ausar Rising update until December 19th, so we suggest you work on your dragon slaying skills in the meantime.

I'm too enraged to speak about this update as of now. I heard these news late last night, and since it has been a while from the last IB3 update, I deleted the game so I can play AC Pirates and Joe Dever's Lone Wolf and so on... last night I downloaded the game again to wait for the update, and guess what - my save file is gone, the game refuses to connect to cloud, even though I have a superb connection... I'm writing all of this nonesence down, just so people can see it and think before they delete their IB3 - don't if you don't have to, especially if you had over 10 hours into it like me... I'm contacting support as I write this, but it's the third time I'll try Chair support and they simply never answer, so keep that in mind. Just a heads up.

Otherwise, this update sounds cool, but I'm still doubting it would be that cool. I'll believe it when I see it. The last update sounded super-epic with an amazing boss fight and I beat the whole thing in less than 10 minutes, so... yeah. I'll wait and see.

Sorry for the long message!
