What happens when you take a tilting game like Starball and mix it with the powerups and enemy mayhem of the shmup genre? You get Tilt to Live, that's what! The screen is open to you. Tilt your ship to avoid the red balls while acquiring powerups to destory them, because if one hits you, it's game over. How long can you last?

The tilt controls are phenomenal, and with a game like this, you'd hope they would be. The game starts you off with three powerups, an explosion, homing missles, and a purple wave of death. Other more excessive weaponry can be unlocked as you play, some with devastating effects.

Graphically the game is quite simple but stylish. The background is vibrant, and your ship, the enemy, and the powerups are all easily distinguishable, with the weapon special effects being very impressive. The sound is minimal and the music is very upbeat. The main game mode is all there is, but with achievements, unlockables, and Agon support, there's plenty to do.

Tilt to Live is a very addictive high score game with good presentation. The controls and over the top weapons make it a joy to play, and to keep coming back to.
