With well over a dozen different Solitaire apps on the Appstore, users who are looking for that classic solitaire experience may be overwhelmed with what is available to them, so it's a good thing that MobilityWare have created the ultimate Solitaire app for the iPhone.

Solitaire controls like most other Solitaire games on the appstore. As the cards are dealt out you simply tap and drag to move cards around the table or double tap to automatically move cards from the table to the 4 decks at the top. While the current control scheme is fine, it's strange that they didn't include the option for players to tap a card and then tap elsewhere to place it. Other similar apps have offered this feature and it would have been a good alternative control scheme.

MobilityWare have added a great number of customizable features to suit a wide range of players, from the ability to change the orientation of the table to suit how you hold your iPhone, or being able to position the table based on if you're right or left handed.  Solitaire also features a wide range of customizable deck patterns and the option to switch between modern and classic card styles.

Solitaire gives veterans of the game the freedom of customization to suit their playstyle, while also providing a lengthy instruction guide for beginners. If you're looking for the premier Solitaire app for the iPhone, look no further than Solitaire by MobilityWare.
