I've said it before and I guess it bears repeating, but I'm a bit weird when it comes to games I consider relaxing; SideFlip's challenging logic puzzle gameplay is the kind of game I could easily flip open and enjoy without hesitation.

This is in part thanks to the insanely simple system of using a basic swipe/drawing system to solve the puzzles. Your aim is to cause the board's tiles to match either horizontally or vertically (depending on the puzzle) by drawing a path over the tiles, flipping them in the process. This is further complicated by not being allowed to cross the path you've drawn; by tiles that don't have a color to flip; or tiles that can't be used to start or stop a path.

Points are rewarded based on the length of the path used, ensuring that players can solve the puzzle in a way that makes sense to them, but also providing an incentive to go back and find an optimal solution. On top of the content already available, players can sign up and create their own puzzles to share with the SideFlip community, using a simple and powerful search tool to add custom maps to their personal collection.

SideFlip is no cakewalk, but no pressure is placed on the players thanks to a lack of a time limit or forced single-solutions. If you need to scratch that mental itch, SideFlip is a great way to challenge yourself and even others around the world.
