Some racers are fast. Some are beautiful. Some have banging soundtracks and a selection of entertaining modes. But few have all these elements - especially on iOS.

Against all the odds, however, Proun+ delivers all of the above strengths in a single, scintillatingly arty package. Pocket Gamer's Harry Slater loved it, and you find out why by checking out the video review above.

It look like this game's design and gameplay mechanics are quite heavily influenced by the app 'Synesthetic' released back in 2012. Don't get me wrong, PROUN+ is certainly better than 'Synesthetic' and I am sort of glad someone other than me thought 'Synesthetic' was cool. I just like people to know where the idea came from.

It is actually the other way around: the original Proun is from 2011, well before Synesthetic. :) I even did the very first public post about Proun all the way back in 2006, when I had already been working on it for a year.

You can find that ancient post here (Proun was still called CableRacer at the time): http://www.ogre3d.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=24759&start=0

This is not the kind of game anyone with epilepsy or motion sickness should play. ;-;
