France's Honor of Kings team has been revealed ahead of the Esports Nations Cup
Mobile gaming has been huge in Asia for the last few years, but some of the largest titles are hoping to bring the esports scene to other regions. Honor of Kings is dominated by Chinese teams, but now other countries will have an opportunity to see how they stack up at the Esports Nations Cup.
In a report from Sheep Esports, the five players on France's Honor of Kings team has been revealed.
France's Honor of Kings team for ENC 2026
Honor of Kings currently holds the record for the most-attended esports tournament in history, with over 62,000 fans attending the KPL Grand Finals in Beijing. But Tencent has been pushing for HoK to become a big esport title around the world, using both in-game localization and local events to grow the community.The Esports Nations Cup will have some surprising teams looking to take on China. The French national team is going to be led by Virtus.pro's Chinese coach Xu "Xu" Ruoran, who previously worked in the King Pro League's academy.
Here are the five players:
- Ryan "Clue" Maaroufi - Roamer
- Wahil "Wawa" Hassani - Clash Lane
- Sofiane "Inua" Akarkach - Jungle
- Nabil - Midlaner
- Benjamin "Benji" Bourdeau - Farm Lane
These players have a history of competing together, with Clue, Wawa, and Inua playing together on Gen.G Esports before switching to Team Falcons, where they played alongside Nabil. Benji competed for Team Vitality between 2024 and 2025.
The Esports Nations Cup is scheduled from November 2nd to the 29th, located in Saudi Arabia. It's the largest nation-based competition in esports history, but there are many critics due to Saudi Arabia's politics.
Along with Honor of Kings, the ENC will also include PUBG Mobile and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. Mobile esports continues to grow on international stages, with other countries getting the opportunity to show off their skills.
