The eight invited teams competing in the Honor of Kings Invitational (KIS) Season 4 tournament series has been revealed.

KIS Season 4 will take place at the GBK Basketball Hall in Jakarta, Indonesia from January 31st to February 8th. Here is what we know about the upcoming tournament and its competitors.

Teams competing in KIS Season 4

Honor of Kings shared the competing teams on X yesterday, featuring some of the top teams from around the world. Of course, most teams were from Southeast Asia, where the MOBA has been extremely popular, but China is excluded since those teams currently have their own circuit.

For now.

Here are the competing teams:

  • Bigetron by Vitality (Indonesia)
  • Dominator Esports (Indonesia)
  • Kagendra (Indonesia)
  • Blacklist International (Philippines)
  • BOOM Esports (Philippines)
  • NOVA Esports (Malaysia)
  • Team HAQ (Malaysia)
  • Loops (Brazil)

Fans will have their eyes on NOVA Esports after the team came in second at the 2025 Honor of Kings International Championship in November 2025. Blacklist won PKL Fall 2025, making them another team to watch.

Loops will also have a ton of fanfare as the only team from Brazil, a country that's been heavy into HoK lately. Loops won its region's Fall and Spring championships, but fans will want to see how the squad does against Southeast Asian teams.

KIS Season 4 Prize Pool

It's currently unclear what the prize pool will be for Season 4. Last year, the tournament had $300,000 on the line, but it also had 12 teams.

KIS Season 4 Format and Schedule

The Honor of Kings Invitational Season 4 will start with the Group Stage. Last year, the teams were split into four groups of three. This year, we are guessing it will be two groups of four.

The top teams from both groups will move on to the Knockouts on February 5th. This is another guess, so don't take my word for it, but I am assuming it'll be the top two teams from each group, meaning four total.

The full schedule is not released yet, so it's still unclear what the matchups will be and what time of day.

Meanwhile, the Honor of Kings Women's Series (KWS) will be taking place alongside KIS Season 4. The women will be competing for a $10,000 prize pool
