Honor of Kings King Pro League Grand Finals match may break esports records

The Honor of Kings KPL Grand Finals are coming this weekend — and it may mark a turning point for mobile esports.

The KPL Grand Finals has a massive prize pool (about $9.8 million USD) and will bring the top teams in the world to duke it out for the lion's share at the Bird's Nest in Beijin, China. 

Tencent is putting everything into this tournament. And so are the teams. 

Fans will be watching AG Super Play, a top team that has completely dominated the circuit leading up to this event. However, the final matchup has them competing against Chongqing Wolves, an underdog team that had to fight through the lower bracket to get there. 

The Grand Final match will take place on November 8th, at 5 PM (GMT+8).
