Mobile Legends: Bang Bang's MPL Philippines is underway, but a massive tropical storm has postponed some matches.

This is not just another tropical storm. Classified by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration as Typhoon Opong, it has already caused 10 deaths. Over 87,000 people have been displaced as landfalls continue across the country.

MPL Philippines' new schedule announced

Due to the severity of the weather conditions, Week 6 Day 1 matches have been postponed, according to an announcement from the MPL Committee.

The matches that were supposed to happen on September 26th have been moved to September 29th, 2025:

  • Onic vs. AP Bren: 5 PM (GMT +8)
  • RSG vs. Team Liquid: 7:30 PM (GMT +8)

The matches over the weekend on September 27th and the 28th will continue with the set schedule. Of course, more severe weather could postpone these matches as well.

Two of the teams that had postponed matches are in the Top 3. While Aurora Gaming is currently leading the pack after the first six weeks of MPL Philippines, Onic and Team Liquid are not far behind in the standings.

The action will conclude with the Playoffs on October 22nd to 26th, which will include the top six teams from the season. The top two from the Playoffs will then head to the M7 World Championship.
