Pokémon Go July Community Day confirmed and it is the greatest pick in the universe

My favourite Pokémon is Lucario, I love my Aura-wielding little buddy. However, if Eevee and the Eeveelutions were even remotely competitive in multiplayer, it might be different, for they are adorable. Pokémon Go does give them a fighting chance, though, and happily, our favourite little fox is starring in the July Community Day.

On July 5th and 6th, you will find Eevee everywhere in the wild. If you catch them during the event, they will come with the Last Resort Charged Attack. Not only that, but if you evolve them between July 5th and July 12th, each of the eight Eeveelutions will have their own special Charged Attack.

Vaporeon will know Scale, Jolteon will be packing Zap Cannon, and Flareon can use Superpower. Espeon and Umbreon will bring Shadow Ball and Psychic, respectively. Sylveon will use Psyshock, and Glaceon will have Water Pulse. Leafeon is a special case, as it will be their Fast Attack that changes, specifically to Bullet Seed.

During the event, you will also benefit from ¼ Egg Hatch Distance and three-hour activations for both Lure Modules and Incense. Lasting until July 12th will be some limited-time Evolution requirements. You can evolve Eevee into either Espeon or Umbreon by walking 1km with Eevee as your buddy. Or, earn seven hearts to evolve into Sylveon. 

Completing the limited Field Research will net you additional encounters with Eevee, including one that has a Delightful Days background. You should also keep an eye out for Showcases at Pokéstops. However you enjoy the community day, make sure you take a few snapshots for a chance to encounter a secret surprise. 

Pokémon Go is available to download from the App Store and Google Play. During July’s Community Day, you can head to the official Pokémon YouTube channel and vote on the August Day. Your choices will be Frillish, Wimpod, Rookidee, and Lechonk. I like the bird.
