Following a massive March update, Supercell has unveiled the Clash Royale League 2026 roadmap while introducing a brand new format.

The season will consist of multiple events, including Ranked Seasons, Monthly Qualifiers, Monthly Finals, and Last Chance Qualifiers, all leading up to the World Finals.

Moreover, a total of 16 Golden Tickets (qualification spots) will be awarded throughout the season for the crowning event, as opposed to 12 in 2025.

Here is what the road to the Clash Royale League World Finals 2026 will look like for players:

From Ranked Seasons to the World Finals 2026

All participants will begin their run in Ranked Seasons, with the top 1,500 players moving on to the Monthly Qualifiers taking place from April to August.
Ranked Season Monthly Qualifier Monthly Final
April March 2 to April 6 April 18 to 19 April 25 to 26
May April 6 to May 4 May 16 to 17 May 23 to 24
June May 4 to June 1 June 20 to 21 June 27 to 28
July June 1 to July 6 July 18 to 19 July 25 to 26
August July 6 to August 3 August 15 to 16 August 22 to 23

Each Monthly Qualifier will kick off with a Swiss Stage, which will pit qualified players against each other in best-of-three Manual Duels across nine rounds.

The top 64 players will then advance to the Group Stage, featuring eight equal groups. In the end, the top two players from each group will book a place in the Monthly Finals.

The Monthly Finals will see the remaining competitors battle in a double-eliminated bracket, with the winner of each Monthly Final qualifying directly for the Clash Royale League World Finals.

Eight World Finals Spots Decided by Leaderboard

During the Monthly Qualifiers and Monthly Finals, players will earn leaderboard points that contribute towards their overall rankings.

Ultimately, the top eight competitors from the 16-player leaderboard will receive Golden Tickets.

Meanwhile, the bottom eight players will get one final shot at World Finals qualification in the Last Chance Qualifier.

Last Chance Qualifier and China Qualifiers

The Clash Royale League LCQ will have one final World Finals slot on the line and will feature a double-eliminated bracket running across two days.

In addition to this, the China Regional Qualifiers will send two representatives to the final event of the 2026 season.

The past few months have been challenging for Clash Royale, with the title facing declining revenues along with Supercell receiving massive backlash for not giving credit to Nicholas "Jynxzi" and other creators for its growth.

However, the World Finals followed a completely opposite trend, as its 2025 edition recorded a massive increase in viewership reaching close to 700k peak viewers.

While Supercell f*cked up at the start of Clash Royale’s 10th anniversary year, they still have a chance to make the rest of it better for its esports lovers.

Clash Royale League 2026 Prize Pool and How to Watch?

Every Monthly Qualifier and Monthly Final will offer a combined prize pool of $51,400, distributed among the participating players. Supercell hasn't revealed the prize pool for the World Finals at the moment.

Fans will be able to catch all the action live at Clash Royale Esports’ official Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok channels.
