Fortnite OG Season 8 is releasing on April 1, bringing back the pirate theme along with a ton of new and returning content.

This includes weapons, vehicles, a Victory Umbrella, and more, alongside the introduction of a Treasure Map and new map locations.

Starting with the Pirate Cannon, it is a vehicle that can be used to damage opponents or launch players over long distances.

The other vehicle arriving with the Fortnite OG Season 8 update is The Baller, a rotating ball designed to be driven by a single player. It will be released later in the season; however, the exact date hasn’t been revealed yet.

Coming to the loot pool changes, the Flint-Knock Pistol, Boom Bow, Heavy Assault Rifle, Shadow Bomb, and Impulse Grenade will be added to the game. These will be accompanied by the Treasure Map and Poison Dart Trip.

The in-game map will also be updated with The Volcano, Lazy Lagoon, and Sunny Steps as new POIs.

Epic Games will take the Fortnite servers down for maintenance before rolling out the new update and you can find the countdown for its release here.

Fortnite to Bring Back Its Popular Marvel Endgame LTM

Along with OG Chapter 8, the popular Endgame LTM is also making a return to Fortnite on April 3.

In this mode, players are split into two teams – Avengers and Chitauri. The goal of Avengers is to eliminate the Chitauri, prevent them from respawning, and defeat them and Thanos.

The Chitauri, on the other hand, will have to collect Infinity Stones to disable the opposition from respawning and then defeat them.

The Endgame limited-time mode will also feature Marvel hero items such as Captain America’s Shield, Infinity Gauntlet, Thor’s Stormbreaker, Iron Man’s Combat Kit, and more.
