Epic Games is suing popular Fortnite leaker, a former employee
Epic Games is suing a Fortnite leaker who shared upcoming skins ahead of any formal announcement. The leaker apparently got their information because they were an Associate Producer at Epic Games, making the situation all the more messy.
Remember the popular leak account that went by AdiraFNInfo? The reason for its sudden disappearance from X (formerly Twitter) has been revealed: It was actually an Epic Games employee who was leaking crossover content details early. Once caught, he faced major legal issues and took down the account on February 23rd.
We now know that AdiraFNInfo's real identity is Hayden Cohen, a former Associate Producer at Epic, staffed through a contracting company.
The lawsuit states: "Defendant’s willful and malicious misappropriation and public disclosure of Epic’s trade secrets has damaged Epic’s relationships with its partners, jeopardized future collaborations.
"Defendant’s actions have also harmed Epic’s partners, who were forced to reallocate resources to urgently address the leaks with Epic and otherwise attend to the disruption caused to their other relationships affected by the leaks."
Epic Games linked to the full lawsuit on X, stating that what AdiraFNInfo did was "not allowed," and they will also take legal action against other Epic team members who "share confidential info." I mean, duh.
Who is AdiraFNInfo?
AdiraFNInfo was an X account run by former Epic Games employee Hayden Cohen. According to Cohen's LinkedIn, he worked at Epic Games in September 2025 after previously working at AMC and other big corporations. In 2025, the AdiraFNInfo account began gaining traction in the Fortnite community. While the usual leaks came from accounts like HypeX or ShiinaBR, which were just datamining, this new account seemed to share leaks even earlier — sometimes months earlier.
AdiraFNInfo leaked crossovers like Ed, Edd N' Eddy, The Office, Game of Thrones, Chainsaw Man, and K-Pop Demon Hunters Wave 2. He strangely got some things wrong, despite working at Epic during the leaks. Maybe it was to keep a low profile?
