EV.IO Honor of Kings is celebrating the Decade of Promise by collaborating with Sanxingdui
While other mobile esports titles collaborate with eateries, Sonic the Hedgehog, and blockbuster films, Honor of Kings is collaborating with a Chinese cultural heritage site, Sanxingdui.
The popuar MOBA is bringing players the Decade of promise, which devs are calling "a new chapter celebrating the enduring connection between heroes and players." This will include in-game events and experiences centered around a collaboration with Sanxingdui.
According to a press release from Honor of Kings, Sanxingdui features exhibits from 4,000 years ago, showing China's "highly advanced culture" even back then. The ancient culture will be brought into Honor of Kings' world thanks to filmmakerr Zhang Yimou acting as the Art Director of the collaboration.
This collaboration further demonstrates Honor of Kings’commitment to preserving and promoting cultural diversity around the globe," developers stated.
Honor of Kings brings Decade of Promise to players
Starting today, October 17th, gamers will be able to experience the Decade of Promise in Honor of Kings. There's a brand-new collection full of exclusive collaboration skins inspired by traditional Chinese art and in-game activities and challenges.Until October 29th, there will be a two-phased event that allows the mto earn exclusive rewards. Phase One will be October 17th to the 23rd, including missions to complete for points to unlock Sanxingdui-themed skins and other cosmetics. Phase Two will be October 24th to the 29th, bringing a free skin and more.
Sanxingdui skins
Here are the four special skins and other cosmetics along with how to get them: Nuwa - Spiritual Awakening (Obtainable from Oct 17- Oct 29)- Starting Oct 17, complete 5v5, ranked, peak, or championship matches, earn points and exchange for rewards.

Spriteling Battle
From today until November 12th, players can unlock Spriteling rewards by participating in Spriteling Battle, a mini-game where players go head-to-head with one another to earn points, draw gear or skills, build loadouts, and climb the ranks. There will be exclusive prizes for doing so, like the Spriteling Costume sand Ming - Midnight Channel.If you want a more chill way to participate, there's an ongoing Spriteling Costume Design Contest where you can show off a unique "Voyage" themed look. You'll have until November 2nd to submit your look for the Cat Spriteling. The winner could earn up to $1,500 as well as exlusive in-game rewards.
These winners will also be submitted to the community voting and expert review throughout November, with the final winners announced on December 5th.
