Honor of Kings Invitational Season 4 date, format, prize pool

Honor of Kings has revealed its format for the Honor of Kings Invitational Season 4 (KIS4). 

The mobile MOBA has a lot of expansion and updates to its esports scene in 2026, and it's all starting with the KIS4. Here's what we know about the upcoming tournament that will kick off the season. 

When is the Honor of Kings Invitational Season 4?

The Honor of Kings Invitational Season 4 is taking place on January 31st. It wil last until February 8th, featuring eight teams from Asia and Brazil. Two of those teams will be invited from the Team Star Value Ranking.

Remember those two invited teams I mentioned? They will be placed into two groups of four at the start. Both teams will select squads from the pool to join their groups. 

Once the two groups are finalized, teams will compete in a single round-robin format, with each match being best-of-five. 

Nobody will be eliminated from the Group Stage. Instead, the eight teams will be seeded into a single-elimination bracket in the Knockout Stage based on their previous performance. The winner from each group will also be able to select one of the bottom two teams from the opposite group. 

Honor of Kings Invitational Season 4 to use Global Ban and Pick system

During the Group Stage and Knockout Stage, the Global Ban and Pick system will be implemented. Each team can ban four heroes before each game. Those heroes will become unavailable for the remainder of the series. 

Then, the Grand Final will use the Ultimate Battle mode. Teams will then be able to select the same heroes as their opponents.

The eight teams will be competing for the lion's share of $100,000.It's less than Season 3 due to the reduction of teams, going from 12 to eight. 

Here's how it will break down: 

• 1st: $35,000
• 2nd: $17,000
• 3rd-4th: $14,000
• 4th-8th: $5,000

And this is just the beginning for the top teams in the Honor of Kings scene.
