MOONTON announced as publishing partner for Esports Nations Cup
MOONTON, the developer behind Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Magic Chess: Go Go, has been announced as a publishing partner for the inaugural Esports Nations Cup.
MOONTON is joining Chess.com and SNK as official publishing partners for the first-ever Esports Nations Cup, organized by the Esports World Cup Foundation. The Esports Nations Cup is going to be a massive tournament held every other year that will have the best-of-the-best teams from all over the world competing in a variety of games. This event was announced right after the EWCF pulled out of the Esports Olympic Games.
“By partnering closely with publishers, we can make the Esports Nations Cup truly player-centric, and give players the opportunity to represent their country in games that define their careers,” said Ralf Reichert, CEO of the Esports World Cup Foundation.
“With the seven partners announced so far as close collaborators, we can activate players worldwide to deliver a Nations Cup that feels earned for players and real for fans, and build a stage that national teams can aspire to for years to come.”
Is Mobile Legends: Bang Bang part of the Esports Nations Cup?
It makes sense to add MOONTON as a publisher. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang proved to be the largest tournament at the Esports World Cup by far. It made up for one-third of the entirety of the seven-week event's viewership. We don't know what games will be featured at the Esports Nations Cup yet, but it seems quite likely that MLBB will be included in the lineup at this point.
