Philippines continues to dominate in MLBB

This is the fourth year in a row that the Philippines has taken gold for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

It was a pretty easy tournament for the team, which came in as the favorite to win. They were placed in a group with Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and Loas, which they beat easily. The Philippines won every match.

In the Playoffs, the Philippines competed against Indonesia. It looked like things may turn around after Indonesia won the first match, but the Philippines pulled off a clean reverse sweep to get to the Grand Finals against Malaysia. This match went 4-0 in the country's favor, with the Philippines making it look easy.

Malaysia dominant in MLBB female tournament

The women's MLBB tournament was just as action-packed. Malaysia made history as the first team to ever get a gold medal in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang for the country, man or woman.

The Grand Finals saw Malaysia take on the Philippine's female team. It was a super close match, but Malaysia took the medal with a 4-3 victory.

Said Ray Ng, Head of Esports Ecosystem at MOONTON Games: “As the curtains close on MLBB’s campaign at the 33rd SEA Games, this tournament leaves behind more than just medalists — it reinforces esports’ place in the region’s sporting future, one where digital and traditional disciplines compete on equal footing, united by national pride and the pursuit of excellence.”
