The Pokémon Company recently announced the schedule for Pokémon Go Fest 2025, and whilst that is exciting, there's no getting past the fact that there are only three stops. Understandably, it's a big event that is hard to shift, but still a shame. Well, now there is a solution: the Pokémon Go Road Trip 2025.

Later this year, the show will hit the road like a Zubat out of hell in Europe in a fully branded truck. It is like the Coca-Cola truck but with less diabetes and more Pikachu. It will be making stops in seven major cities, starting in Manchester, UK, on July 19th, which is a mistake. Manchester is the best city in the world, no one will bother with the rest of the stops!

Anyway, it will then head to London, UK on July 19th, before heading over to Paris, France on July 26th. As an aside, the idea of a giant truck crossing the Channel on a ferry amuses me, but the thought of it going through the Channel Tunnel on a train is even better. August 2nd with see the truck in Valencia, Spain, then Berlin, Germany, August 9th, The Hague, Netherlands, August 16th, before stopping at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany from August 20th to the 24th.

So now you know where, but what about what? First off, the truck itself is an interactive giant toy, effectively. There are also themed Pokestops and Gyms at each location. Even if you can’t reach it, you will benefit from increased Lure Module effects, special trade bonuses, and citywide bonuses.

For the social side of things, you can encounter community managers, brand ambassadors, and content creators. You can also throw down in the Go battle zones, partake in community events, and capture some AR photo moments. Plus, there will no doubt be people in giant Pikachu costumes, what more do you need?

Pokémon Go is available to download from the App Store and Google Play.
