The 2025 PUBG Mobile World Cup finalists are ready to roll after an intense survival stage
We are in the home stretch of the 2025 PUBG Mobile World Cup, as the survival stage is in the books. Now, we're down to 16 Grand Finalists. It is a bittersweet moment. Whilst the finals will no doubt be extremely exciting, I do adore the scrappy nature of a good survival match.
There were three days of 16 teams all desperately duking it out to ensure the squad didn’t leave the last chance saloon, but, of course, only eight could survive. The adrenaline was well and truly pumping, and Fire Flux Esports used it to blitz day one, scoring a string of top finishes.
Day two was the domain of POWR Esports, standing out with its impressive rotations, but Regnum Carya and eArena were reliably plugging away to earn a top-three space in many matches. The biggest surprise of the stage, however, came when reigning champions Alpha7 Esports finally bid farewell.
The fact that Alpha7 landed in the survival stages didn’t bode well in the first place, but it still came as a shock to see them go.

With a new champion now guaranteed, Horaa Esports has made a statement by topping the survival stage, a momentum they will no doubt hope to ride to glorious victory.
The team will join the other 15 finalists, which include Fire Flux Esports, POWER Esports, Regnum Carya, eArena, NS RedForce, Team Falcons, Yangon Galacticos, Alter Ego Area, 4Thrives Esports, DRX, Weibo Gaming, Alpha Gaming, Team Secret, TT Global, and IDA Esports.
The 2025 PMWC Grand Finals will take place between August 1st and 3rd, with a $3 million prize pool up for grabs, and a funky new theme song which you can enjoy above. If you want to follow the action, the matches will be streamed on YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch.
