PUBG Mobile is locked and loaded as the Road to the Asian Games begins
It's all kicking off in the esports sphere this month, and we have quite a nice spread of genres. We have had card games, turn-based tactics, and now, guns. Lots of guns. PUBG Mobile's road to the Asian Games begins, its second time attending the storied event over in the east.
Starting on June 19th, the 2026 Asian Games Esports Qualifiers will start the show with a bang. 23 teams will duke it out in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, in the tried and tested Battle Royale format. Will we see people cowering in corners until the final minutes? That's how I played Battle Royales. Never works.
Anyway, the teams have been randomly seeded in two sections for the Group Stage, taking place June 19th and 20th. Very close indeed, and yet, we already know the map rotation. The first four games will be on Erangel, whilst the last two will head to Miramar.

The top six of each group will advance to the June 21st Qualifiers Finals, where the battleground will whittle out contenders down to just eight. There will be six matches, with points awarded for final placements, so consistency is key.
It will be a star-studded and bullet-riddled affair
These bruised and battered heroes will then march onto Japan, where the real fun begins. They will join the 19th Asian Games Gold, Silver and Bronze medal teams, with Japan, as the host nation, receiving the final spot.It is set to be a battle for the ages, as battle-hardened veterans will be taking to the floor. 4Thrives Esports, winners of the Season 1 Global Open, will be in attendance, as well as members of the 2025 World Cup-winning Yangon Galacticos and the Champions of the 2025 Pro League, Magna Esports Club. Suffice to say, if you are a PUBG fan, you want to tune in.
You can check out the PUBG Mobile Esports channels on Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, and YouTube. And of course, you can hone your own PUBG Mobile skills through the App Store and Google Play.
