PUBG Mobile is honoring its returning collaboration partner B.Duck by seeing it blow up repeatedly

I don’t know about you, but when I am in the middle of an intense firefight with enemies surrounding me, all I can think is, “I wish I had a duck”. Well, PUBG Mobile can now make that weird dream of mine a reality, as B.Duck returns to the fight.

First appearing in the warzone back in 2021, B.Duck is back until November 1st, re-asking that age-old question: “How did what is basically just a rip-off of the bath-time rubber ducky get this popular?” And more importantly, how will it help on the battlefield? Besides sticking it to yourself and hoping your enemy shoots that exact spot.

I am being harsh; it is cute, as are the collaboration items available. They are truly embodying the, “Be Playful” mantra of B.Duck, especially in the bathtub-shaped vehicle skin, the B.Duck Tub Buggy. You can also style out with a themed raincoat, backpack, and helmet.

My favourite is the B.Duck-shaped Grenades. Hitman has done it with the remote explosive ducks, and they are always hilarious. Imagine being deep in a skirmish, there's a sudden lull in gunfire, and all of a sudden someone chucks a duck at you. I think the confusion would keep you still just long enough for it to explode.

Heading into World of Wonder, you will be able to craft your own B.Duck adventure from September 9th. I am hoping for a racetrack full of duck bathtub cars and rubber explosives flying around. Taking a step into the boring real world, TikTok is offering a B.Duck filter if you are into that type of stuff. Alongside that, attendees of Comic Con Africa at the JHB Expo Centre between September 24th and 27th can enjoy some duck-based activities.
