The Jackbox Party Pack 12 is trying to destroy parties by causing best friends to split up and arguments
Since launching in 2014, Jackbox Games have managed to turn their Party Packs into a must-have at parties. Who wants to speak to guests when instead you can make them do really stupid things? Keep your deep conversation; starting October 15th, I am going to throw on The Jackbox Party Pack 12 and make people argue instead!
There are five new games to enjoy, and if you want to flex your one-liners, then We Forgot a Card is for you. Players are provided with a greeting card for occasions such as “It’s not you, it’s…”, and you are tasked with making the best punchline. You can even choose to purchase those cards in real life, should you be so pleased with your wit.
For those looking to split the room, MegaPals prompts players with a word, and you must write as many connecting words as you can think of. More matches with anyone means more prizes, with the top two players becoming Kings of Friendship. For more teamwork, Idol Factions has teams sorting answers into the right categories. A nice simple one.

Now for one that sounds like an utter nightmare, cause I hate pictures. Hyperface will have you take a selfie and then warp it to match scenarios such as “you have seen a bear”. If you are shy like me, you can opt to use a stock photo, but I imagine the room will judge you.
Finally, perhaps the most interesting one. Players can do linguistic battle in Debate and Switch, where contestants will argue all manner of strange topics to be voted the winner. There was a TV show on Dave called Argumental which was like this, and it was quite funny; I can only assume that’s what they were going for.
Jackbox Party Pack 12 will be coming to Apple on October 15th, but you can always use your Android as a controller by heading to the website.
