PUBG Mobile is teaming up with the USC Games program at the University of Southern California to introduce the college to its UGC platform World of Wonder (WOW).

World of Wonder is a UGC platform that will be introduced in USC's Games as a Service and Live Operations (GLO) course, launching in January 2026. This will become a hands-on teaching tool for the GLO curriculum, "empowering students to bring their creative ideas and receive direct feedback from real players within PUBG Mobile during the development process," reads the official press release.

This collaboration will expand the students' practice in esports tournament production for increased career opportunities.

Student projects from the GLO course will be showcased at the USC Games Expo in May 2026, with the top-performing students also getting interviews for a possible summer internship.

PUBG Mobile has partnered with over 50 universities around the world, bridging the gap between students and career pathways in esports. At this time, over 4.4 million maps have been created in WOW, generating over 33 billion matches. There is currently a $10 million prize pool in the upgraded ecosystem.

You can experience World of Wonder in the PUBG Mobile app.
