PUBG Mobile 4.1 brings Winter Mode challenges
Winter is almost upon us. Well, at least in PUBG Mobile. The 4.1 update is arriving mid-October, bringing the early test version of Winter Mode.
Winter Mode will bring snow to PUBG Mobile's maps, but that also means gameplay changes that may be a bit of a challenge, skins, and even an event with fast progression for those who want to grind a bit this winter.
PUBG Mobile update 4.1 Winter Mode challenges
Winter Mode looks beautiful, but just like IRL, that winter weather comes with a lot of unforseen challenges. Snowy surfaces will be trickier to traverse, especially if they get icy, and snowfall means less visibility. If you jump into a vehicle, expect it to go faster but be a bit tougher to handle. Some advice? Wear white to blend into your environment, attach thermal scopes to spot heat signatures through the snowfall, and stick to high ground to avoid more slippery areas. Be on the lookout for snowmobiles and stick to close-range weapons since it'll be tougher to see from afar.
Keep in mind, there's stuff like avalanches that could maybe a hinderance but also be used in your own strategy against enemies.
Be ready for the beta on October 10th and then the full version in late October or early November. The best UC purchases are the Glacier SCAR-L skins and Mythig Forge outfits, so be on the lookout.
