Resident Evil Survival Unit lets you fight against the infected across a new strategic base-builder, out now

The end is nigh - Joycity has finally launched Resident Evil Survival Unit, the studio's survival horror strategy game set in the popular RE franchise from Capcom. As you struggle against legions of the infected, this time around, you'll also need to strategise the best way to survive in your very own settlement. 

You'll build your base, gather resources, and hope your defences can last long enough to fend off the creatures at the door - a tactical twist you can expect from the same studio that crafted Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War.

Amidst the haunting atmosphere and the looming sense of dread all around you, you'll also need to grapple with other survivors on the hunt for scarce resources. Thankfully, you can fight alongside Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield, Jill Valentine, and other RE franchise faves to up your chances of survival. You can customise and grow your team to prepare for the dangers ahead, which includes an unsettling new creature called "Mortem". 

As for what that looks like (and how world-renowned artist Yoshitaka Amano designed this beautiful nightmare), you'll just have to play to find out.
