Is VALORANT Mobile getting a global soft launch?

Earlier today, a popular VALORANT Mobile news account on X (formerly Twitter) announced that a global release of some sort was coming very soon. This obviously caused a lot of excitement and skepticism. 

Are we actually getting VALORANT Mobile soon?

Unfortunately, the tweet from earlier today is likely just a rumor. It's unclear who the original source was for the leak as well. 

In response, another trusted VALORANT Mobile news account retweeted the rumor and stated: "Nothing's confirmed, folks. Be careful with any news you see out there, just like that supposed March news that might happen, but nothing's confirmed! The worst part is the effect this has on fake news spreading from one to another."

Since then, the original rumor tweet has been deleted. 

The February 5th rumor was likely in reponse to a previous claim that VALORANT Mobile was going to come out in February or March 2026. However, this has never been confirmed by Riot either. 

When is VALORANT Mobile coming out? 

So far, Riot has not given any timeline for VALORANT Mobile's global release. It's believed that the game will get a global launch of some sort in early 2026. Of course, this is yet another speculation from the VALORANT Mobile community. 

Currently, VALORANT Mobile is only available in China, which even has an esports scene for the game. However, VALORANT Mobile was one of the top-performing mobile shooters in 2025 despite only being available in China, showing great promise. 

There is no question that Riot will have a major global launch, along with an expanded esports scene. The real question is when?
