Sons of Anarchy: The Prospect quite liberally draws its inspirations from the Telltale adventure games. There's cel-shading, an episodic release schedule, and a plot taken from a popular film or TV series. Still, I guess it was inevitable that a developer would try and mimic the excellent framework laid down by Telltale. A "rough cut" trailer of the new Sons of Anarchy mobile game has surfaced on the interwebs and features a dangerous ride down the wrong side of the road, a hand-to-hand fight with a gun involved and, continuing the dangerous theme, the protagonist lighting up a cigarette. The most interesting thing we gleamed from this trailer is that Sons of Anarchy: The Prospect appears to be entirely in first person. The visuals and storytelling also look fairly reminiscent of the Telltale games, which isn't surprising given their success at transferring popular film and TV onto the small screen.
