Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is shutting down soon
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is getting shut down.
Activision announced the upcoming discontinuation of Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile on its support site, letting players know that the servers will shut down on April 17th. This gives Call of Duty grinders two more months with the battle royale.
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile goes offline soon
The Warzone mobile community is not too surprised by this recent announcement. Activision ended support for the game back in May 2025, removing the ability to download the app pr make in-game purchases from that point onward."While we’re proud of the accomplishment in bringing Call of Duty: Warzone to mobile in an authentic way," Activision wrote, "it unfortunately did not meet our expectations with mobile-first players like it has with PC and console audiences."
Back in 2024, Activision's Co-Head of Mobile, Chris Plummer, had high hopes for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile. He told GameSpot that Warzone is a "kick-a** experience" on all platforms, including phones.

Call of Duty: Mobile is still going strong. In fact, Season 2 just dropped with a new battle pass and plenty of content.You can play its battle royale mode if you will miss Warzone.
