Peugeot shows off its strange new concept car in a Fortnite island

Peugeot Polygon City has arrived as a dedicated Fortnite island. Launched by Gameloft, this island allows players to explore, customize, and interact with "the futuristic PEUGEOT Polygon concept." 

This city will be inspired by the Hypersquare, Peugeot "cutting-edge steer-by-wire technology." 

If all of this sounds confusing to you, let me back up. Peugeot is a car company from France focused on forward-thinking electric vehicles. It recentely anounced a Tron-like vehicle prototype called the Poylgon, which includes various driving innovations like its "steer-by-wire" system. This works by replacing the usual steering wheel - that round thing in all cars - with four pods you control with your fingers in an attempt to improve agility and precision. 

I don't know... 

Peugeot is calling the Polygon concept a vision of future design and technology. In Fortnite, Peugeot Polygon City will have a futuristic landscape shaped like the Hypersquare, where players can explore and interact with the car and its technology. 

Basically, it's an innovative way to advertise a car.

A single vehicle with multiple sides. It’s a way to connect with new audiences, redefining automotive innovation through digital exploration.”
