ROC Esports has officially entered the Honor of Kings esports ecosystem with the acquisition of Nova Esports’ roster.

As a result, the team will now compete under the Saudi Arabian organisation’s banner, starting with MY HoK League Spring 2026.

“This acquisition reflects ROC’s commitment to investing in talented players, strengthening our presence in the Honor of Kings ecosystem, and building sustainable programs that support both competitive success and player development,” ROC Esports announced on X (Twitter).

“By integrating this roster into our organization, we aim to provide the structure, resources, and support necessary for the team to perform at the highest level.”

The entire Nova Esports roster has also been retained by ROC Esports, as listed below:

  • Nicholas "Xuan" Ng — Clash Lane (IGL)
  • Jun Xian "KongLing" Chan — Jungler
  • Wang "Wendy" Jinwen — Mid Lane
  • Jun Yang "Muci" Ong — Farm Lane
  • "Jacky" — Farm Lane
  • Min Jing "Weipit" Wai — Roam
  • Yang "NanguaJ" Jian (Head Coach)
  • Tsai "Rainer" Cheng-bang (Manager)

Nova Esports has been competing in Honor of Kings esports since 2019 and immediately got attention from the community after winning the Korea King Pro League Spring in the same year. The team made its first major international appearance at the Honor of Kings Championship 2024, where it finished in the top five.

The organisation only improved with time as it won Honor of Kings Invitational Season 3 and the MY Honor of Kings League Spring in 2025, while achieving runner-up position at the International Championship. Most recently, Nova Esports also lifted the Honor of Kings Invitational 2026 Season 4 trophy to kick off the season on a high note.

ROC Esports Targets Rapid Growth in Esports

ROC Esports is a fairly young esports organisation that entered the scene in 2023 and currently fields rosters across multiple popular titles such as PUBG, Apex Legends, Call of Duty, and more.

With the acquisition of Nova Esports’ Honor of Kings division, the MOBA title has become the latest addition to ROC Esports’ expanding presence in the ecosystem.

“We look forward to working closely with the players and staff as we continue to build a strong future together and contribute to the continued growth of the Honor of Kings competitive scene,” the organisation stated.
