The King of Fighters AFK adds a powerful new unit in update

With the Street Fighter movie getting closer and closer, people are ready for a punch-up. And what better way to celebrate than by playing something in a different series! It might not have a movie, but The King of Fighters AFK is getting two fighters to add to your roster.

We start Omega Rugal, a dark weapon merchant who can more than hold his own in a brawl. This is his return tour, having already been available, but if you find yourself with a spot in your Special synergy team, or just didn’t play at the time, he is definitely worth checking out.

His Boss Mode increases his attack and reduces incoming damage each time he is hit, which is the perfect ability for a drawn-out battle. At some point, you will just be shrugging off hits. If you like the sound of him, pop over to the League Battle Shop, or try your luck at the Premium Summon.

Recruit a real powerhouse

For a totally brand new battler, let’s turn to the Krizalid. He is of the Corrosion synergy, perfect for extra damage. Speaking of, this man is a complete beast for attack. Desperate Overdrive EX deals big damage to three foes, imparts damage over time, and limits the amount of damage Krizalid can take for two turns.

His biggest attack, however, is Lightning Disaster EX. This hits every foe, causing DOT on all of them, and boosts the attack of everyone in Krizalid's row, including himself. You can grab him in the Krizalid Pick-Up Event, and find him some friends in the Corrosion Synergy Fighter Summon Event. Both last until April 29th. 

On top of fighters, there have been a host of updates added, and events going on. Synergy Effects have gotten a boost, and you can now send out up to nine units in Story Stages. The Lucky Elpy Event will run from April 21st to 25th, with the Legendary Support kimjaehoon available as a reward. You can also get Legendary pets KeKe-zalid and Archybeav from the Breezy Hideout Event during the same timeframe. 

Finally, until April 29th, you can get seven days of login rewards, with up to 50 DNA and 2,400 Fighter Origins available. The King of Fighters AFK is available to download from the App Store and Google Play.
