This article will provide six tips and tricks that will surely help you play this intense and mind-boggling game.
1. Choose the right mech for the job
Once you have correctly equipped your fighter robots in the hangar, you need to choose the best one for the job at hand. There can be five bots in your arsenal at once. You can choose any of them whenever you are entering a match or after they are destroyed in combat.
You should carefully consider your choices when choosing your mech. You should always go with the most robust robot to destroy all your opponents, but that would be a losing strategy if your enemy outplays you or plays for the objectives. If you are losing matches, it is possible to change your strategy and use a different robot. You can either aim for the objectives or adjust your offensive patterns to match the competition.
We recommend mobile and fast robots to capture objectives and slower, bulkier counterparts.
2. Do not be the only one in a fight
Mech Arena: Robot Showdown revolves around teamwork. All the roles complement each other so a team can be more effective when everyone fills each. Soloing is not a good idea as you can become very vulnerable. To achieve maximum success, stick with your team and coordinate attacks together.
If you spot someone on the opposing team acting alone, it will be an opportunity to make a quick kill. It is doubtful that the solo player will survive if you get your team together.
3. Target the blind spots of enemies
This tip is an extension of our previous one. Although attacking from the front can be great for focusing your fire on one enemy, it's better to attack from a flank before engaging. You'll be able to deal more sustained damage because they are trying to escape you. It will also keep you away from getting hit as they can't target you right away.
4. Stop enemies from being behind
It is best to attack your opponent from behind when they are least expecting it. Try to sneak up on your opponent instead of firing from far away. Once you have established contact, make sure that both guns are fully loaded and then fire. By the time they turn around, they will have lost a lot of their health, putting you in a good position.
5. When firing from a distance, shoot in short bursts
Recoil kicks in a few seconds after you start shooting. This can significantly impact your ammunition, as you will miss more bullets than you hit, so fire in bursts for better accuracy.
6. Make your speed your advantage
This tip applies regardless of whether you are trying to eliminate enemies or capture objectives. A moving target is always difficult to hit, primarily when the enemy uses low projectile speeds. If you are ever playing with a Scout class robot, it is essential to keep moving. This will allow you to both capture objectives and harass the enemy by zipping between their defenses.
