The September 4th update came with the Spooky Soiree event, but there was another big change that was overlooked until recently.

According to patch notes, the update came with improved cheat detection for X-Ray vision, auto aim, shot tracking, speed hacks, high jump, and more. It also improved the ability to detect unfair cooperation with cheaters, account farming, botting, and more.

Since September 4th, more players have been getting banned for cheating. However, these are not just run-of-the-mill bans - many are 3,650 days. Ten whole years.

Adding to the strictness, these 10-year bans are for hardware, which means even doing a factory reset or changing your IP won't help. There is also a 90% catch rate on unofficial emulators, according to some sources.

Can you get unbanned in PUBG Mobile?

As more and more players get banned for a whole decade, some have come out asking for help.

On Reddit, one player stated: "It is so annoying with all these automated responses from PUBG Mobile service support. I've been playing the game for seven years now and I got banned 10years and I have no idea why I've got banned."

The player claims they have never cheated and have even spent $5,000 over time. They continued: "I work so hard on my account and spent hours and hours on training grounds and classic ranks."

The worst part? They can't seem to get through to PUBG Mobile and have been getting appeals denied and automated responses. Other players noted the same thing in the Reddit thread, expressing frustration with the lack of personal care to their case.

This doesn't mean it's impossible to get unbanned in PUBG Mobile but it currently seems pretty tough to dispute. Make sure you're not cheating or using any illegal hardware mods or you are likely out of luck for 10 years.
