PUBG Mobile has some big collaborations in store for its 8th anniversary, this time with celebrities, streamers, and athletes. It's a bit different from the usual leather jacket makers, brainrot references, and random luxury vehicles, but still... More collabs.

To celebrate its 8th anniversary, PUBG Mobile is bringing a lot of familiar faces into the fold. Ones that don't really have anything to do with a war-torn battlefield, but what's new?

PUBG Mobile collaborations for 8th anniversary

This includes athletes like football player Richarlison and baseball player Juan Soto, who will become in-game character skins.

Mr. Beast is also in the game, but it's luckily not a skin inspired by his creepy, dead-eyed smile. Instead, he is hosting an in-game challenge with exclusive rewards in a new gameplay mode, Evolving Universe.

We're also getting some K-pop collabs, with BamBam and MINNIE releasing the song "CARRY YOU" a few days ago. This follows an earlier theme song release by OneRepublic, "LEAN."

Other collaborations include Jujutsu Kaisen and Apollo Automobil. For some reason.

PUBG Mobile community events for 8th anniversary

PUBG is introducing something called Golden Ticket Fragments, which can be obtained in the themed Erangel event. These tickets can be pieced together to compete in the WOW DASH tournament, with a $100,000 prize pool.

There's also the World of Wonder creator incentive program, which has $10 million in prizes for content creators.

There was also the Giza Pyramids carnival, which was held a few days ago with Egyptian rapper Wegz and other musical talent. There were also community events in Turkey and Indonesia, featuring more local talent.
