The PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2025 Gauntlet Stage has wrapped up, and the Group Stage teams have been decided.

With $1.5 million on the line, this has been an insanely competitive event so far and it's just getting started.

PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2025 Gauntlet Stage action

The PMGC 2025 Gauntlet took place over three days — November 24th to the 26th — and it was nonstop action. Sixteen teams competed for seven slots in the Grand Finals, with the rest heading to the Group Stage for another chance.

Right away, China's ThunderTalk Gaming was dominating the Gauntlet Stage, getting two third places finishes in their six matches on the first day. On the second day, the domination continued. Unfortunately, the third day saw the powerhouses falter, showing weakness with just 34 total points.

This unfortunate third day allowed another top team, R8 Esports, to climb up even higher. The other top teams were in a close battle up until the Grand Finals, but the teams to eventually claim the seven Grand Finals spots were:

  • Alpha7 Esports
  • D'Xavier Esports
  • MadBulls
  • R8 Esports
  • ThunderTalk Gaming
  • ULF Esports
  • Vampire Esports

Tune in to the PMGC Group Stage

The next step towards the Grand Finals is the Group Stage, starting tomorrow (November 28th).

Thirty-two teams will be competing for the final six slots in the Grand Finals. There will be 16 teams in two groups.

Catch the action on PUBG Mobile's official YouTube and Twitch channels.
