Ubisoft has announced a brand new Rainbow Six Mobile update, the second since its global launch on February 23rd.

As part of it, the developers have taken player feedback into account to add new content and make several improvements.

Starting with the Renown Cap, its weekly limit has been increased from 5300 to 7500, which will help players unlock operators quicker than before. These changes will begin rolling out over the next few days.

Matchmaking has also been tightened to make matches relatively fair by avoiding massive disparities between player ranks and MMR. Moreover, the rank allowance between friends has been lowered from three to two to prevent the high-ranked players from smurfing. Team Deathmatch has been added to Rainbow Six Mobile, which allows players to warm up before jumping into the matches. The mode lets them experiment with different weapons and improve their aim.

Ubisoft will also be fixing the “inconsistent” sensitivity issues and remove Prone Camera Limits in the upcoming hotfix. Other fixes include resolving the issue where sprinting does not exit lean, along with the bug that prevents players from receiving medals after playing Ranked matches.

Rainbow Six Mobile Features Still in the Works

Right now, controller players are only able to use a gamepad during the matches, but the developers are working on enabling full support across menus as well.

In addition to this, the bug where the voice chat disables game audio will be fixed in the future as well; however, for now, the only workaround is to disable it.

Instead, players can use softwares such as Discord to communicate with their teammates.

Apart from this, the community is still waiting for Ubisoft to announce Rainbow Six Mobile’s esports circuit, especially considering its PC counterpart, Rainbow Six Siege, recently announced its major plans for Year 11.
