Rainbow Six Mobile launches Operation Trauma Front with a new medical professional to recruit
Despite all the turmoil in their offices, Ubisoft has been treating us mobile gamers nicely. We had the release of The Division Resurgence recently, as well as Rainbow Six Mobile, the latter of which has kicked off Operation Trauma Front today. It’s packing new maps, events, and features, including a fresh one to go one-on-one with a chosen opponent.
Ubisoft did lay out the general vibe for what's happening in their roadmap the other week, but now we have concrete details. Let’s look at the most exciting aspect: our Operator. Doc joins the Defence as a dedicated support, because what else would a man named “Doc” do? With his trusty Stim Pistol, he can revive or buff allies from afar, as well as revive himself or gain temporary health.
You can debut Doc in the new House Map, which sounds horrendous to me. As you expect from a House, you will be battling around tight corners, with possible foes also just an arm's length away. I'm terrible even when I can see my enemy clearly. Speaking of other players, a new Ranked Season has begun, with a Hibana skin to earn.

I hope you have homeowners' insurance
Operation Trauma Front also brings us a few new limited modes taking place over the next few weeks. Week 1 is the House showcase, allowing you to try out the Bomb mode in the map, as well as play as Doc for free. Weeks 2 and 3 will hold frantic 3v3s in the cramped map. Finally, in weeks 4 and 5, the battle will spill across multiple zones, in a 2v2 Face-off taking place in the House, Oregon, and Border areas. In addition to the weekly rotation, there are a few events taking place. Best of 7 Ranked returns every weekend, where consistency will be key. That and just an ungodly amount of bullets. The Vault: Toxic Fog will reopen in weeks 3 and 5, where you can pick up the Ash Outbreak cosmetics using Obsidian.
Rainbow Six Mobile is available to download from the App Store and Google Play.
