Zenless Zone Zero prepares for its latest adventures with Version 2.0

Since its launch, HoYoverse's Zenless Zone Zero has been slowly plodding along and carving out its own space in the technoverse. It didn’t make as big a splash as its siblings Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail did, but it is still an enjoyable romp, and with Version 2 coming June 6th, there will be more to love.

Where Clouds Embrace the Dawn picks up after the Sacrifice crisis conclusion and takes us on a new journey in Waifei Peninsula. With the help of Yi Xuan, High Preceptor of Yunkui Summit, Proxies will uncover more secrets of Phaethon, take on further Hollow exploration, and even take on the task of running Suibian Temple. Here you will upgrade facilities, dispatch Bangboos on missions, and earn rewards.

The Lemnian Hollow is awash with danger the likes of which we haven’t seen, so it is a good job we have new friends joining the fight. Yi Xuan is an S-rank and a very capable fighter, ignoring enemy defence to deal huge damage. Her attack depends on her Sheer Force, which can be increased according to her Attack and Max HP. She also uses Adrenaline instead of Energy, and has two distinct Ultimate modes.

Our next S-rank is Ju Fufu, a Stun Agent that accumulates Might and Momentum points to dish out Physical and Fire damage. She is also capable of boosting the team's Crit, Chain, and Ultimate damage. Taking a step down to A-rank, Pan Yinhu makes up for this shortcoming by being a literal panda who is great at tanking. Belion, the S-Rank Bangboo, also joins, with Astra Yao and Caesar being the returning S-ranks for banners this update.

Hollow Zero: Lost Void adds new commissions and allows you to equip multiple Gears to Agents. Even better, Soul of Steel: Golden Bond lets you pilot mechs into the Hollows to earn rewards. For a more relaxing outing, you can head to Lumina Square to watch movies with your team in the Gravitational Attraction event. To help in general exploration, Version 2.0 brings 3D maps and Fissure Beacons to restore your team and teleport for ease.
