Arena of Valor saw a massive, record-breaking viewership during the Southeast Asian Games 2025.

Arena of Valor was a featured esport title at the SEA Games, along with EA Sports FC, Free Fire, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. There was also a Magic Chess: Go Go showmatch, dominated by Malaysia. Arena of Valor was the standout, however.

The mobile MOBA had two tournaments during the SEA Games 2025, one for men and one for women. The men's tournament reached an incredible new record for Arena of Valor, hitting 1.04 million peak viewers during the Grand Final match, which was between Thailand and Vietnam.

Vietnam eventually won both tournaments. Unsurprisingly, Vietnam made up a lot of the viewership as well.

Most popular Arena of Valor esports tournaments

Esports Charts has been keeping track of the mobile game's viewership as it grows in popularity. Here are the Arena of Valor tournaments with the largest peak viewership:

  • 33rd SEA Games 2025 - Men: 1.04 million
  • Arena of Valor Premier League 2023: 974.6K
  • Arena of Valor International Championship 2021: 879.5K

You can see the peak viewership growing each year for Arena of Valor's largest events. The SEA Games record has made Arena of Valor the third mobile esport to ever pass a million peak viewers in 2025. The other two? Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and PUBG Mobile, which hit its highest peak viewership in the past five years at the Global Championship 2025.
