Call of Duty: Mobile Season 1 brings Frozen Abyss battle pass, events, and Codename: Lazarus - Cosmic Wrath

Call of Duty: Mobile's Season 1 is now live, bringing tons of winter-themed content to the game.

Here's everything you need to know about Frozen Abyss. 

New seasonal events in Season 1

Let's start with the seasonal events! There's definitely something for everyone in Frozen Abyss.

Street Fighter Part 2.

The first one went well, so why not another round?! The Street Fighter collaboration is continuing, bringing new challenges and rewards along with it. 

Rewards include the M4 - Vulcan Blast Weapon Blueprint, the Charm - Charming Guile, and the Prizefighters - Ryu's Gloves Melee Weapon Blueprint. 

Winter Events.

 

This is a winter sports event with more rewards. The AS Val - Ski Slop Weapon Blueprint and the Otter - Slop Drifter Operation Skin can be yours. 

Secret Cache Catch-Up Event.

As the official blog proclaimed: "And that's not all!" This event gives players the chance to earn missed Secret Cache rewards, including newly added rewards like a Season 1 weapon camo and a Legendary Striker weapon. 

Frozen Abyss battle pass

The battle pass is one of the main things that gamers care about, so let's explain that as well. There will be free and premium winter-themed items, including operator skins, weapon blueprints, and more. 

In the free tiers, there's the new LC10 SMG and an Inflatable Decoy you can throw. The free tier also has winter-themed skins, weapon blueprints, and Vault Coins. 

Over on the Premium Pass, you can get operator skins, including the American Bulldog - Polar Explorer and Portnova - Arctic Adventurer. There are also weapon blueprints, like the LC10 - Tracker inspired by the Season 1 weapon.  

You can also purchase a Battle Pass Subscription, which includes even more monthly rewards and a 10% boost to Player and Weapon XP. 

On top of the battle pass, the new season brings the Challenge Pass. There are Standard, Special, and Elite Missions that will allow you to earn Tokens, which can be used in the Exchange to purchase seasonal items.

Alright, I'm sure Activision would want me to include this. 

The new Mythic rarity Codename: Lazarus - Cosmic Wrath operator skin is the new Mythic Draw. This is a demonic soldier that has returned from the dead. You can also unlock and upgrade the Mythic Operator Skin and get themed rewards. 

Season 1 also marks the end of the Mythic Weapon Voting event. The winner was the Grim Ending - Mythic Draw, featuring the AK117 - Grim Ending. It will return to the Store on January 23rd - and only for a limited time.
