Rainbow Six Mobile is almost launching globally. We're almost there. Just one more season first!

Rainbow Six Mobile is getting its global release on February 23rd after years of testing, betas, seasons... Competitive players have been anxiously awaiting its arrival. Ubisoft has just confirmed that one more season is coming and then the game is finally coming.

Rainbow Six Mobile Operation Masquerade

Operation Masquerade is setting the stage for what gamers can expect upon Rainbow Six Mobile's global release. While it stinks that most players can't experience it for themselves, it does give us insight into how operations will work going forward.

First, we're getting a new operator. Well, the countries that have the season, that is. Castle brings the roster to 25 operators, bringing along his same gadget from Rainbow Six Siege X. Gamers can unlock him on the season's battle pass.

On the topic of operators, there are some balance changes in Operation Masquerade as well. Glaz is getting big changes to his main gadget, Thermal Flip Scope. Going forward, it will be clearer and also mark enemies - even to allies.

There will be events every week, just like the seasons before it.

  • Week 1: Storm the Castle - 3v3 version of Secure Area, but the defense team is all Castles
  • Week 2 + 3: Invitational Doubles - 2v2 Bomb mode on Restaurant and Clubhouse (in celebration of Invitational 2026)
  • Week 4: Trophy Hunt - this returning mode has players collecting trophies from eliminated enemies

While playing these limited-time events, gamers will get a bunch of rewards, including a new skin for Ash. Players can also get rotating awards for competing in Best of 7 Ranked.
