Multiple esports teams have reported visa issues ahead of the Call of Duty Mobile World Championship, possibly causing them to be eliminated ahead of the massive event.

Two teams from India have come forward with concerning visa issues that won't let them get into Poland in time for the Championship on November 7th. It's a bummer since the two teams qualified to represent their country at this large tournament with an $850,000 prize pool.

Godlike Esports noted that four of its players have yet to receive their visa, begging the government to step in and help.

"We’ve trained all year, won the India qualifiers, and proudly secured 2nd place at the 2023 World Championship in Atlanta," the tweet stated. "This is our dream and our nation’s pride. We are now at high risk of missing the entire tournament, and this is truly our last hope."

S8UL came forward with similar problems, stating three pros still needed their visas. According to one of their community managers, only one player on the team has a visa appointment in New Delhi ahead of the tournament. The others all have appointments in December, which would be too late to compete.

This is an unfortunate situation for the top two teams from India. They are the only Indian representatives competing at the Call of Duty Mobile World Championship, which also has the top teams from China, Mexico, Brazil, Europe, Egypt, the Philippines, Southeast Asia, and Japan.

The teams' fans have been tagging various government agents as well, begging for help on social media and Discord.
