Cat Quest 3 is available to pre-order on Apple devices now
Usually, I like to start things with a joke, a tale, or some exaggeration or other, but I am simply too excited for this one. Apple has added a great number of big games to their catalogue lately, but this makes me the happiest. Soon we can get Cat Quest 3 on the go.
If you haven't played any of the previous Cat Quests, you are genuinely missing out. They aren’t the longest; you could probably get through them in a day if you tried hard enough, but they are delightful. You control an adorable character, engage in some solid action RPG gameplay, and chuckle through some terribly amusing puns.
Cat Quest 3 specifically has you controlling a purrivateer - awful puns promised and delivered - who is seeking the Northern Star in a pirate-themed adventure. You can sail a boat, fire cannons, and search for treasures. It's a pleasant and cosy way to pass the time.

As is increasingly the norm with Apple, you can engage in a bit of try before you buy, so you might as well give it a go. If you decide to drop a few pounds, bucks, or whatever your local currency might be, then you will be happy to learn that this Cat Quest 3 supports universal purchase, so buy it once and you can download it on any of your Apple products.
One key feature that Cat Quest 3 keeps from its original release is its proper co-op feature, and by that, I mean the dying art of the couch co-op. Simply connect two supported controllers, and you can explore the Purribean with a pal. Or, simply enjoy a solo adventure thanks to the full touchscreen support, and enjoy your feline piracy on the go.
Cat Quest 3 will launch August 8th and is open for pre-orders now.
