DreamHack is heading to the United Kingdom in March 2026. A three-day event in Birmingham has been announced, the first time that the 20-year gaming festival finds itself in the UK.

DreamHack Birmingham 2026 will take place from March 27th to 29th, 2026, running alongside ESL One Birmingham, a Dota 2 major. Said the Mayor of West Midlands, Richard Parker: "Esports has exploded into one of the fastest-growing parts of our economy. Our arenas are buzzing with global fans and players for events like DreamHack and ESL One.

“For us, it’s much more than entertainment. Our colleges and universities are full of young talent learning the skills to succeed in this multi-billion-pound industry.”

Mobile esports to watch at DreamHack Birmingham 2026

The lineup for DreamHack Birmingham 2026 hasn't been announced just yet, but we're expecting a lot of big tournaments for top mobile titles since past DreamHack festivals have featured the Finals for many popular mobile esports scenes.

We're thinking that Brawl Stars, Clash of Clans, and Clash Royale will definitely have some sort of tournament at Birmingham to coincide with their competitive seasons. It likely won't be the Finals, which will happen later in 2026. Call of Duty: Mobile and Battlegrounds Mobile India have also been at select DreamHack events.

DreamHack Birmingham 2026 will also feature other competitive tournaments, cosplay contests, live music, tabletop gaming, and other fan activations. Tickets are going on sale on September 23rd, starting at £39.00 during the first two weeks, before increasing to £59.00.
