Dunk City Dynasty introduces its first Peak Superstar with Season 5

As someone who is 6 foot 6, I am legally obliged to like basketball, and I do. Anthony Edwards is the MVP, and it is astonishing that the Timberwolves haven’t won a title yet with their roster. Putting that aside, Dunk City Dynasty has launched its Season 5 update, with the game's first Peak Superstar.

Unfortunately, this Superstar is LeBron James, specifically LeBron James ’16. Obviously, LeBron is one of the best of all time, that is undisputable, but I can’t stand him. Purely because of “The Decision." It raised a ton of money for charity, which obviously is great, but it was such an ego trip, and disrespectful to the Cavaliers after playing with them for years. 

Anyway, personal feelings aside, LeBron James ’16 is the first Peak Superstar, granting increased scoring and playmaking skills. You can also recruit LaMelo Ball, an absolutely fantastic Point Guard. Even better, you can get him for free via the Log In For LaMelo event. Then, round off your team with one of the greatest defenders to play the game, Ben Wallace.

Until February 24th, you can partake in the Vacation Tour event that has you completing challenges across three adventure maps. Doing this will earn you diamonds and draw vouchers. There will also be up to 20 Superstar Vouchers available through the Christmas Login Rewards until February 24th.

If you still find your team lacking, you can pick up the Superstar Choice Pack that offers the likes of Curry, Leonard, and Davis, along with level-up materials for them. On the aesthetic side, collecting 15 black cards will allow you to redeem the James ‘16 or Ben Wallace jerseys. Or, purchase the Christmas-themed Xmas Reindeer set, as well as the City Stroll, El Dorado, and The Detective outfits.
