Dunk City Dynasty goes on the defensive for Season 6 Vol 2

The NBA is full of, or has produced, a phenomenal amount of legendary names. Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O'Neal, and LeBron James, just to name the obvious ones. Then you get some legends who aren’t household names, despite their immense talent. For Season 6 Vol 2, Dunk City Dynasty is adding two of these, with Jrue Holiday and Draymond Green.

For those hoping for highlight players and raining 3s, unfortunately, you will be in for a disappointment. These two are defensive bulwarks, so they probably won’t be lighting up the scoreboard. On the contrary, they will be keeping your opponents' score in the gutter if used right. Not as entertaining as a dunk machine, but still vital.

Put the ball in Jrue Holiday's hands, and he will have you covered on playmaking, whilst being able to fight up a fight on the perimeter for defense. Draymon Green, on the other hand, will have your defense locked down inside. Let's just hope art does not imitate life, or Green will rack up those fouls. 

As well as these players, Vol 2 brings a few more gifts for us all. To start, you can grab Holiday’s jersey from his Milwaukee Buck days. Then, April will bring a cavalcade of cosmetics, such as the Trail by Fire set in a limited-time Treasure Hunt event, or some seasonal gear with the Spring Vitality Exchange Event. 

Season 6 Vol 2 also rolls out a new progression cycle. This features timed pass content, weekly quest activities, login reward programs, and festival-themed missions. Sounds good, although I think we all shudder at the thought of “pass content”. 

Also, hard to miss the fact that it looks like there will be no new player in April. No offense to Holiday or Green, but I wish we got an explosive attacker. Maybe someone like Anthony Edwards, perhaps. And by “someone like”, I mean, “give me Anthony Edwards”.
