EA Sports FC Mobile partners with Apple TV and MLS to simulcast four matches in 2025
It has been a good old chunk of time since EA split with FIFA over licensing fees for their football sims, and I think it is safe to say, it hasn’t slowed down the gaming giants at all. Instead, they are out making more deals, such as between Major League Soccer and EA Sports FC Mobile.
Thanks to a three-way partnership between EA Sports, MLS, and Apple TV, EA Sports FC Mobile players can watch four select matches from the 2025 MLS season. This is thanks to a live simulcast of Apple TV's MLS Season Pass. With sports packages often being expensive to keep up, this is a fantastic opportunity.
The first match will take place on May 10th and will be the MLS Cup 2025 final rematch between LA Galaxy and the New York Red Bulls. Dates may vary, given where you are, so make sure you do your time conversions. Kick off is set for 16:30 PT. If you are on the app, you can also access the Football Centre, which offers up-to-date content on global football events and allows you to complete a featured Showdown Player Exchange before the match starts.

Fast forward to May 17th, and you can watch Atlanta United FC take on Philadelphia Union. Note the name is FC, and not SC, settling that argument once and for all! Kick off is again 16:30 PT. The final two games are currently undecided, but will be held in September, so we have something to look forward to.
Exciting match action is not all this collaboration brings, however. Players who watch the broadcasts will receive in-game currency. Also, if you find yourself enjoying the MLS games that much, then you can try a one-month trial of the MLS Season Pass. Full redemption details can be found on the FC Mobile site.
EA Sports FC Mobile is available to download from the App Store and Google Play.
