Germany to host FNCS Major 1 Summit for the first time

Epic Games has announced that the 2026 FNCS Major 1 Summit will take place in Düsseldorf, Germany, for the first time in its history.

Organised by BLAST, the international tournament will be held offline on March 30th and 31st, featuring a $1,000,000 prize pool.

The FNCS Major 1 Summit isn’t just the first Major of the season; it will also pave the way for the best teams to qualify for the Global Championship.

FNCS Major 1 Summit Format

The top 100 duos from across the world will first compete online in the FNCS Major 1 Summit from April 6th to April 26th. From there, the top 50 teams will advance to the LAN event taking place at PSD Bank Dome as follows:

• Europe — 20 Duos
• NA Central — 13 Duos
• Brazil — 5 Duos
• NA West — 3 Duos
• Asia — 3 Duos
• Middle East — 3 Duos
• Oceania — 3 Duos

On the final two days, players will battle across 12 games, earning points through eliminations and placement, with the highest placement points awarded for securing a Victory Royale.

In the end, the duo with the most points will be crowned champions, with the top five teams advancing directly to the FNCS Global Championship.

The winners of the FNCS Major 1 Summit will take home $200,000, while the runners-up will rack up $120,000. Here is the rest of the prize pool distribution:

How to Watch FNCS Major 1 Summit

Fans wanting to attend the event in person can purchase tickets via EVENTIM’s official website starting March 2nd at 4 AM ET / 10 AM CET.

That said, the matches will also be broadcast live on Fortnite Competitive’s official Twitch and YouTube channels.

Apart from this, Epic Games has also enabled a special island in Fortnite called Legends Landing, where players can catch the action live with friends.
