If you have ever played one of the Goat Simulators, you will know that it is less of a game and more of a simulation of a rather drunken hurricane of chaos and destruction. They are great. It is fitting to this nature, then, that developers Coffee Stain North are hosting the inaugural Goat Direct on April 1st.

This will bookend the prolonged celebrations of the Goat Simulator franchise’s 10th anniversary, which again kicked off on April Fools' Day last year. You may recall that this marked the original Goat Simulator NPCs migrating over to Goat Simulator 3. We also received the Multiverse of Nonsense DLC, gear packs, and Goat Simulator: Remastered, which didn’t come out on mobile so it doesn’t count.

Back to this year, and the Goat Direct, the showcase will feature world premiere reveals for the likes of Goat Simulator 3, as well as announcements from a few of Coffee Stain North’s partners. A lot of this is top secret, however, we do know there will be an update on Goat Simulator: The Card Game. I can’t begin to imagine how that could end any other way than someone getting a card lodged in their head.

Goat Direct is set to go live on April 1st at 16:00 CEST, with all the fun being broadcast on the Goat Simulator YouTube channel. After you have recovered from all the goat-based announcements, you can watch April Fools! Goat Simulator 3 on the Twitch Rivals channel. This will be kicking off at 23:00 CEST, so you might have a late night next week.

I would also like to point out that the developers have put in writing that they promise Goat Direct is real and that the announcements are legitimate. I adore that they realise people will think it’s all a joke because that would be incredibly on-brand. Anyway, if you want to try out the nonsense, you can purchase Goat Simulator 3 from the App Store and Google Play now.
