It is a big day for baseball fans as Homerun Clash 2: Legend Derby receives a big update

Haegin has announced a rather full update to its mobile baseball game Homerun Clash 2: Legend Derby. We are welcoming two batters, a beautiful stadium, a couple of miscellaneous updates, and most importantly of all, a shiny new game mode.

Taking a break from the online fun, Homerun Clash is adding a World Tour Mode. This focuses on solo gameplay, with 240 stages set across eight chapters, each with its own special rules and missions. Complete these and you will earn bigger and better prizes, but the challenges will be much harder. So, it might help to recruit one of the two debut players.

Let's start with Gloria, who looks like she wandered into the wrong game, all decked out in her motocross-like suit. This racing theme is reflected in her skill, Soft Cycling II. This increases cycling home run scores, so if you are looking for someone to get you points, she might be your answer.

Our second character is Hammer, a tank of a player. He has the Agent skill, which defends against damage based on the home run gauge, and fully blocks one hit with a maxed-out gauge. You can take both of these recruits to the new Baobab Stadium, inspired by the namesake trees and beautiful waterfalls. There are also 12 pieces of equipment added from B to SS rank.

In time for these two sluggers is the revamped growth system. Batters and skills can be levelled up through coins now instead of the probability-based system, and Equipment Coins have been unified into just one currency. Finally, S Rank and above equipment have fixed attributes suited for a specific stadium, so you will need a fully stocked supply room.

There are a few sundry updates as well this time around. A Batter Effect and Defense Skill recommendation have been added, and the World Star Season 2 has kicked off. The Achievements system has also had a facelift, so you can start earning those accolades in style.
